ExxonMobil responds to California’s plastic pollution lawsuit

All ExxonMobil wanted was to be left in peace while they lied to us about plastic for 40 years. Was that too much to ask?

For California Attorney General Rob Bonta, apparently it was. California is suing ExxonMobil for decades of lies to make us think that Big Oil’s toxic, climate-heating plastic was recyclable, when they knew it wasn’t.

We need more leaders who will finally #makepolluterspay for their lies and damage.
